Jeanette Bongiovi has been a physical therapist with the Kramm’s “family” for three years. Prior to working at Kramm’s, she worked at Sunbury Community Hospital in the out-patient department treating orthopedic, sports, and neurological disorders. Additionally, she performed wound care on diabetic and vascular ulcers. Jeanette began her therapy career in 1994 as a traveling therapist with Rehability Corporation, practicing first in Sunbury, Pennsylvania and later in Alexandria, Louisiana. She returned to Sunbury permanently in January 1996. Jeanette attended Florida International University in Miami, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, after receiving an Associates in Arts degree at Miami-Dade Community College. She lived in Miami for 10 years.. Jeanette is currently a Northumberland resident and has been married to her husband, Sam, for almost eight years. They have a 13 year old, 113 lb., female, furry, black, four-legged child named Digger, who is their pride and joy.

Prior to working as a physical therapist, Jeanette worked as a buyer’s assistant for a large retail chain in western Pennsylvania, and also for a large chain in Miami, as well as for a small chain of upscale boutiques in Miami. Jeanette also worked as an office manager for a travel-focused public relations company, and as an administrative assistant for a non-profit group which promoted Miami.

Jeanette was born and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania, fireworks capital of the world, and hot dog capital of the world! She is the youngest of four children, with two sisters and one brother. She loves traveling and has been to Alaska, Tennessee, and Lake George, NY with her husband, and also to England, Scotland, Wales, Hawaii, Canada, and all but 14 states. She has driven with her sisters from California to Pennsylvania on one of their famous “road trips”. Jeanette enjoys going to Disney World and to New York City with “the girls” for shopping and Broadway shows. Jeanette and Sam recently bought a small cabin in Betula, Pennsylvania, where they enjoy spending some of their weekends with Digger.

Jeanette enjoys scrapbooking and stamping in her “shed” and decorating her house. She also spends many hours watching Grey’s Anatomy, ER, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, HGTV, and Oprah. She is also the Cliff Claven of the rehab department with her vast knowledge of totally useless information. She is Harry’s first lifeline if he ever gets to be on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Jeanette enjoys working at Kramm’s and likes being a part of a close-knit rehab department. She takes great pride in being able to help her patients achieve their goals.
