Ice Cream Social for Kramm Residents

An estimated 125 residents and family members were able to enjoy ice cream sundaes on July 16th compliments of Kramm Nursing Home in Watsontown, and the cool treat could not have come at a better time since temperatures exceeded 90 degrees that day! The ice cream social is one of many events scheduled in celebration of the nursing home’s 40th year of service to local communities.

Janet Kramm Memorial Gazebo

Construction has recently been completed on the Janet Kramm Memorial Garden and Gazebo at Kramm Nursing Home in Watsontown. The garden/gazebo is a tribute to one of the founding owners, Mrs. Janet Kramm, who passed away recently. The facility plans to officially dedicate the garden/gazebo at an open house celebration in October.

2008 Relay For Life

Kramm Nursing Home of Watsontown and Kramm Healthcare of Milton collaborated as a team once again for the Milton Area Relay for Life. This year’s Relay was held from 1 PM June 13th through 1 PM June 14th. The Kramm team’s tent was proudly decorated in red, white, and blue for the theme “Relay around the Flag” in honor of Flag Day.

The Kramm team is proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, we have been honored as the top fundraisers for the event! Thanks to the generosity and support of all of our donors, we were able to raise a grand total of $9350! A big thanks to all who participated and we hope to count on your support again next year. 2008 Jes-Vic 5K Run

June 7th marked the second annual JesVic 5K in Watsontown, and Kramm Nursing Home once again provided one of the water stops for the runners. The 5K participants were especially appreciative of the cold water this year since the race coincided with a particularly hot and humid day. Kramm Nursing Home is proud to continue sponsoring this event in honor of Vicki Hitesman and Jessica Wade. Here are a few photos from the event.
